Summary of Responsibilities:
The Catering Event Captain/Banquet Captain (Catering & Events Supervisor I) position is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of catered events at the University of St. Thomas.
Job duties include:
Working directly with clients to plan their catering events
Coordinating on-campus services for external groups/events
Overseeing set-up, service, and cleanup of catered events
Overseeing daily operations to include the maintenance of catering serveries and storage areas
Supervising and training of the student staff, ordering and inventory
Additional Requirements:
This position may be designated Emergency Essential. Emergency Essential employees may be expected to remain at work if campus closes during their regular work schedule or to report to work if the campus-closing announcement is made before their regular work schedule begins.
