This position is grant-funded. We anticipate this to be a 12-month, benefits-eligible term appointment, dependent on the needs of the department. The position duration is renewable for up to 2 years, depending on performance, department needs, and availability of funds.

Salary Range: $75,000 to $86,000
The University of St. Thomas has provided a salary range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.
JOB SUMMARY
The research engineer will support the Department’s research on advancing Microelectronic Devices Design and Manufacturing. This includes semiconductors, system-on-chip, heterogeneous integration/advanced packaging and trusted artificial intelligence.
