Pay Range: $21.00 to $28.00/hr

JOB SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator is responsible for implementing and managing strategies related to the Graduate Business Student Association (GBSA). This coordinator will work with faculty and staff to support graduate business students to increase retention and satisfaction, attract new prospective students, and foster meaningful engagement and connection at Opus through active and passive programming initiatives.
The program coordinator will also work closely with the TMH 100 Student Services team to provide support with academic advising, student communication, and academic operations. They additionally will lead event planning. The program coordinator works collaboratively with program directors, the advising team, internal Opus staff, University instructional design staff, other University personnel, and external vendors.
This program coordinator exists to enhance and support the graduate business student experience prior to enrollment through graduation and beyond by supporting departmental events and activities; assisting current students with all aspects of their student engagement; providing logistical support to the Student Services team and having a physical presence at a wide range of university-sponsored events; assisting faculty as needed, and creating or supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts and events for graduate business students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Academic Program Operations Support and Office Management – 25%
Support program operations including processes related to scheduling, registration, scholarships, surveys, and coordination with faculty to ensure course readiness on Canvas platforms. Provide administrative support to the graduate programs office, ensuring smooth daily operations. Respond to inquiries from students, faculty, and staff with professionalism and care. Maintain accurate program records, assist with documentation needs, and support scheduling and communications across assigned programs.
Academic Advising & Student Communication Support – 25%
Support academic advising and student communication, including student status changes, reporting, certificate requests, and documentation. Provide advising support for students as needed. Identify efficiency opportunities and process improvements while maintaining strong customer service.
Event and Logistics Management – 20% 
Plan, promote, and execute events that enhance the graduate student experience, including orientations, workshops, and co-curricular programming. Manage all logistical details such as room scheduling, catering, technology, materials, and event communications, working with other university departments as applicable. Collaborate with staff and faculty to ensure events align with program goals and university policies and run seamlessly.
Board Engagement – 20%
Serve as the primary advisor to the student board, the Graduate Business Student Association (GBSA). Support board leadership in planning meetings, developing initiatives from start through completion, and engaging the student community. Manage digital platforms (Canvas, etc.) to keep information up-to-date and accessible.
Data Entry, Student Record Management, and Reporting – 5%
Maintain accurate and timely student records, documenting interactions, issues, and resolutions. Track and analyze student progress and performance using institutional reporting systems to support student success and retention efforts. Collect, manage, and report data from surveys, student systems, and event participation to inform decision-making.
Other Duties as Assigned – 5%
Support additional responsibilities as needed, which may include grant management, study abroad, accreditation efforts, financial processes, or other program priorities as assigned by manager.
