This role offers a hybrid work schedule, with at least three days a week in the office on the Minneapolis Campus to stay connected with the team and collaborate in person. You’ll also have the flexibility to work remotely up to two days a week, depending on team needs and your schedule. It’s a great balance of in-person teamwork and remote flexibility.

Salary Range: $85,000 to $91,000
The University of St. Thomas has provided a salary range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.
JOB SUMMARY
The executive director co-leads the Melrose & The Toro Company Center for Principled Leadership alongside the academic director. In collaboration with the academic director, the executive director co-develops the Center’s strategic plan, mission, and strategic priorities. The executive director is primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and administering Center programs and processes in several areas: Strategic partnerships/collaborations, educational engagements and events, outreach and promotion, and integration with OCB faculty and academic programs connected to principled leadership. The executive director also implements and manages critical administrative and operational processes related to communication, resource management, and promotion of the Center.
The executive director plays a substantial role in developing productive relationships and effective communications with several critical audiences including for-profit and non-profit strategic business partners; the academic community (local, national and global); University of St. Thomas faculty, staff, students, and alumni; and the Center’s Advisory Board.
The executive director may undertake some travel and will require remote access in order to have the capability to remain in contact with other Center and OCB staff and faculty.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, the humanities, social sciences, or a related field
Five years of professional program administration experience preferably related to business ethics and/or corporate social responsibility
This position requires a DMV background check
An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired may be substituted.
