Salary Range: $62,750 to $78,000
This position will reside on the Minneapolis campus with the possibility of one remote day per week.

JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, the Assistant Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations will provide support to corporate and foundation relations efforts. They will focus on identifying new corporate and foundation donors and grant opportunities and will coordinate with the CFR team and major gift officers to provide research, briefings, and data to inform strategy.
The Assistant Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations will develop and write grant proposals (under $100,000) to corporations and foundations, in collaboration with the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, faculty, deans, and directors of development.
They will provide excellent stewardship on funded proposals through submitting interim and final progress reports and preparing stewardship materials in collaboration with directors of development, faculty, Donor Relations, Gift Accounting, the Office of Research, and the Controller’s Office.
The Assistant Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations will manage the internal private grants process from pre-submission to post-award to ensure compliance and best practices, in collaboration with the Office of Research, Gift Accounting, the Controller’s Office, and the Principal Investigator. They will track grant proposal and report deadlines and promote proactive partnerships with faculty, staff, and university offices to expand the capacity and efficiency of the Corporate and Foundation Relations office.
