Salary Range: $82,090-$112,000

JOB SUMMARY
Under the general leadership of the Director of Facilities Maintenance, the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will perform duties necessary
to operate and maintain the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing and utilities to provide optimum learning, teaching, research and working environments for all students, faculty, staff and visitors to our campuses. The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will supervise the mechanical maintence division.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Minimum Qualifications
Ten years of experience in the operation of gas and oil-fired, high-pressure boilers
Seven of which include related mechanical maintenance experience in a supervisory or lead capacity, preferably in a higher education environment
Must be able to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints and equipment manuals
Must have the following licenses: Minnesota Chief C Boiler’s License, or equivalent, and the Universal Refrigeration License
Must have a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
A four-year degree in mechanical engineering
Experience managing a unionized workforce
