OVERVIEW

The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity invites qualified candidates to apply for a Records and Program Support Coordinator. This position has a full-time equivalency (FTE) of 0.75 or 30 hours per week.

 

THE SAINT PAUL SEMINARY SCHOOL OF DIVINITY

The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity (SPSSOD) is operated under an affiliation agreement between the University of St. Thomas, the Saint Paul Seminary and the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.  The vision, mission and core values are as follows:

Salary Range: $20.42 to $25.52

 

The University of St. Thomas has provided a salary range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.

 

JOB SUMMARY

This position serves in a highly collaborative environment within the Academic Dean's office and is responsible for the management of all student academic records and registrations for the Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity (SPSSOD) in accordance with the Association of Theological Schools (ATS), the Higher Learning Commission and University of St. Thomas.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Serves as a collaborative member of the Academic Dean's office and supports the mission of the SPS.  Assists the Academic Dean preparing course schedules; assigning times and rooms for courses; coordinating registration for courses; receiving and organizing application materials from students; operating of the UST student record-keeping system (Banner); processing grades, transfer credits, waivers, incomplete coursework, and graduating student audits. Consults with the UST Student Data & Registrar’s Office and acts as a liaison between SPSSOD and UST. Represents the Record’s Office as an ex officio member of the SPSSOD Graduate Studies Committee.
  2. Collects yearly data and statistics for surveys and reports to external constituencies; compiles enrollment and demographic data every semester. Compares data with reports
    from UST Institutional Research and Planning. Disseminates reports to Rector, Vice Rector, and Academic Dean. Prepares reports tracking all student financial aid and faculty load data. Maintains archive files containing enrollment data, all SPSSOD catalogues, directories, handbooks, degree audits and evaluations, commencement data, course offerings, course evaluations, and course syllabi.
  3. Provide support for all credit-earning programs as assigned by the Academic Dean, but not limited to, social gatherings, academic events, and extracurricular activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or the equivalent
  • Four years of administrative support experience, preferably in higher education
  • Excellent customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of UST student records systems and Banner
