Salary Range: $54,210 to $80,000

JOB SUMMARY
The CNC Operations Manager oversees CNC fabrication and instruction operations in the St. Thomas Center for Advanced Manufacturing. The CNC Operations Manager is responsible for instructing students in the safe operation of CNC equipment ensuring compliance with safety procedures. This position assists in the development of CNC training curriculum development and identifies areas for continuous improvement. The CNC Operations Manager provides supervision and broad fabrication support within the machine shop.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide instruction in safe operation of manual and CNC equipment and participate in CNC training curriculum development and continuous improvement
Supervise student work in machine shop and provide guidance in fabrication methods and machine setup and operation
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, acting as a resource for safe lab practices
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors level degree in industrial technology, or journeyman machinist, tool and die maker, or an Associate’s
degree in a technical field
Preferred Qualifications
An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired may be substituted.
