JOB SUMMARY
This position reports to the Associate Vice President (AVP) for Inclusive Excellence in the Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ODEI), the university’s office charged with DEI strategy, consultation, leadership and collaborations with university partners in embedding a shared mindset to embrace diversity, seek equity, and practice inclusion.

- Operations management and administrative support

- Community Building
- Supports and facilitates community building activities to help foster a strong, positive, and inclusive work culture.
- Assists with efforts to innovate, develop, and grow awareness and partnerships to increase DEI programming, engagements, and intergroup dialogues across diverse stakeholders.

The Graduate Program Enrollment Manager is responsible for management of integrating marketing, university recruitment, graduate services and external relations for all graduate degree and certificate programs in the School of Engineering (SoENGR), including Graduate Programs and Certificates offered by the Departments of Software Engineering & Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Other programs. S/he develops, adapts, and deploys digital and in-person SoENGR program technical expertise to support the interconnectivity of support services to these programs.
ROUTINE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily responsibilities include communication on program technical requirements with university recruitment services, program directors, graduate services and applicants for queries through Salesforce tools, phone outreach, personal e-mails, WhatsApp, and Marketing Cloud
- Manage SoENGR program technical messaging for evolving marketing materials, in coordination with enrollment management office, university marketing groups and SoENGR for recruitment events, information sessions, open houses, etc.
- Event management for SoENGR specific events including corporate, regional, national, and global recruitment events to recruit for and represent technical components of SoENGR graduate programs

Work with relevant offices to maintain quality assurance of all international transcripts and verifying language test score proficiency requirements are met.
- STUDENT ADVISING/RETENTION: Maintain contact through the onboarding of all new students. Advise students of academic requirements. This includes speaker contracts, promotion including creation of events on Salesforce, OneStThomas, and Tommie Link, room reservations, room layout, catering, student attendance tracking, book sales, and all other day of activities. Recruit and advise graduate student representatives on planning and implementing graduate student events.
- MARKETING: Collaborate with department and enrollment management office to generate marketing content. Coordinate oversight and updating of web pages, including social media pages, with relevant information for current and prospective students. Conduct research on peer institutions to advise the dean’s office, graduate office and program directors of trends and potential areas of programmatic development. Work closely with social media to develop and enhance the program’s online presence and online marketing efforts.
- ADMISSIONS: Work closely with the enrollment management office in responding to technical components of program inquiries and advising prospective students regarding admission procedures and program requirements. Advise the dean’s office, graduate offices and program directors on admission and credit hour projections. Help plan and execute new student orientations.
- ALUMNI RELATIONS: Collaborate with department to provide ongoing communication with alumni regarding job postings, conference opportunities, and invitations to student/alumni events.

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Executive Director of the Center for Well Being, the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services is responsible for administering the day-to-day operations of Counseling and Psychological Services. This position will provide assessment of counseling staff clinical competencies, evaluating intake protocol, ensuring appropriate treatment planning and documentation, providing crisis intervention and management, expanding outreach initiatives, and developing a strong referral network. The ideal candidate for this position will provide leadership, vision, financial management, policy formation, assessment and strategic planning to support the integration of counseling within the Center for Well Being and the delivery of mental health initiatives and psychological services on campus. The successful candidate must also be dedicated to reducing barriers to care that exist for communities of color, the LGBTQ community, and other marginalized groups.
The Director manages and supervises an expanding department of licensed psychologists and other mental health providers, an APA accredited doctoral training site with doctoral interns and advanced practicum students to provide mental health services to the St. Thomas community. This is a full-time, 12-month University Staff position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Leadership
- Provide leadership that guides and supports staff, as the team implements strategic planning, policies, programs and processes that ensure the delivery of excellent and efficient integrated mental health services.
- Drive integration of the CAPS team into the CWB to provide an integrated mental health approach to care across the CWB’s three partner areas (Health Services, CAPS, and Health Promotion).
- Cultivate a culture of innovation that incorporates new ideas, modalities, and operational models in the provision of mental health services that address the growth in demand and increasing complexity of presenting conditions.
- Make decisions based upon alignment with and achievement of the Center for Well Being, Student Affairs, and institutional strategic goals, values and initiatives.

3. Direct Client Care
- Provide counseling to St. Thomas community; conduct intake sessions, provide individual and group psychotherapy and crisis intervention to students, faculty and staff. Maintain electronic records and case notes in keeping with ethical, legal and professional standards of care.
- Serve as lead clinician and primary point of contact for parents, faculty, staff, and outside providers.
- Provide clinical consultation and supervision to clinicians on challenging or high-risk client issues.
- Provide 24-hour crisis intervention and emergency response as part of an on-call rotation schedule.
4. Community Mental Health
- Represent the counseling staff as a member of UART (University Action and Response Team).
- Consult with the Dean of Students Office in emergency situations, provide assessment of students in crisis, and assist in the development and coordination of plans for students with complex psychological and behavioral issues, including re-entry procedures.
- Actively cultivate and maintain collaborative working relationships with external providers of mental health services for the purpose of referral and the coordination of a continuum of care for students.
- Provide support, training, and presentations for faculty and staff on issues affecting student mental health and behavior.
- Actively contribute as a thought-partner to an integrated and robust upstream approach to holistic student well-being within the Center for Well Being.

JOB SUMMARY
The Recruitment and Retention Specialist will collaborate with our school district partners to engage in activities related to recruitment of students to the residency program and partner to plan and implement induction support activities. Additionally, coordinator/specialist will plan and implement wrap-around support activities for residency cohorts. These activities are funded through the MN Residency grant, funded by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and awarded to the School of Education.
The recruitment and retention coordinator/specialist will coordinate recruitment, retention, and induction work. We will recruit someone familiar with the teacher residency pathway, racial affinity work, and teacher induction work. This position will collaborate closely with university residency staff, admissions staff, and district partners to engage in recruitment activities, including participating in information sessions, staffing recruitment events, collaborating on interview and selection activities, and organizing orientations. The Director of Assessment and Accreditation is responsible for supporting the continuing AACSB accreditation efforts in the Opus College of Business, including the coordination of its assessment and assurance of learning processes. The Director provides research, analysis, and assistance to the Associate Dean for Faculty Excellence on all accreditation-related activities of the college. The Director is also responsible for the design, production, and administration for all AACSB-related reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Development and implementation of an accreditation strategy focused on efficiency and effectiveness. Provide project management for the accreditation process including identifying and tracking project milestones and setting timelines.
- Manage the administrative process for the Assurance of Learning (AOL), including working with faculty committees, departments, programs, and other faculty groups in the coordination and implementation of the AOL plan; ensuring that the college maintains necessary documentation to demonstrate complete cycles of assessment, feedback and closing the loop actions; and preparing necessary college level reports on AOL activities.

The Center for Microgrid Research is in the midst of an exciting growth phase with more than $25 Million grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Defense (DOD), and Minnesota Department of Commerce. In the next year, it is anticipated that the CMR team will grow to more than 10 full-time staff and 15 student researchers. Through the awards, the Center’s infrastructure is expanding in capability and size. The microgrid’s on-site generation capacity is increasing to more than 1.5 MW to feed power to 5 buildings on campus, covering more than 400,000 sq. ft. of space. The expanded microgrid will be made up of 2 smaller microgrids and have 4 points of connection with the local utility resulting in a unique networked-microgrids layout. The research and development infrastructure is growing to include state-of-the-art Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testbeds for controller-HIL, power-HIL, and power-system-HIL. Research findings developed and prototyped on the HIL testbeds will be immediately applied to the real-world microgrid for real-world case studies and experiments. Moreover, the CMR’s industry partnership network is rapidly broadening. As an example, the CMR is a founding member of the Minnesota Cleantech Consortium which includes 3M, Cummins, Xcel Energy, Connexus, Great Plains Institute, and many others.

JOB SUMMARY
The St. Thomas Center for Microgrid Research (CMR) is seeking candidates for a postdoctoral scholar position in the area of microgrid control. The scholar will be part of a rapidly growing team of engineers and researchers and will have a unique opportunity to work simultaneously on a real-world industry-grade microgrid and state-of-the-art Hardware-in-the-loop HIL testbeds.
Essential functions:
- Develop innovative solutions and technical approaches to design, modeling, and implementation of advanced control systems in microgrid applications.
- Create a digital twin of the current and planned microgrid and test control systems on the digital twin and real-world microgrid
- Serve as lead author on project reports, journal articles, conference papers, and presentations.
- Develop experimental test plans to collect data to validate modeling and analysis work.
- Leads and supports technical proposals for developing new projects
- Meet grant goals and deliverables by completing assigned research tasks and reports.
- Supervise and lead student researchers (undergraduate and graduate).
- Work closely with the Center’s director and the CMR team.
- Contributes to the overall success of the Center by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY
This full-time position will, in collaboration with the Dean, the Associate Dean for Admissions, and leaders at the Opus College of Business, create and execute a recruitment plan and will deliver an exemplary student experience in the Organizational Ethics & Compliance degree program offerings, and will work to drive and sustain enrollment in non-degree offerings with partner organizations. Drawing on industry background and trends, the Director will also serve as a point person on compliance for JD and MBA students interested in the field.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Recruitment and admissions:
- Design and implement recruitment strategies to prospective degree-seeking students including cultivating relationships with businesses and partner organizations.
- Coordinate with graduate office of admissions, while serving as the primary industry expert liaison for prospective student inquiries.
- Coordinate with marketing team and associate dean of admissions on strategy.
- Sustain existing partnerships for non-degree options for students to promote healthy enrollment patterns. Research and create new non-degree options through leveraging compliance industry expertise to identify new certification partners.
- Participate in the admissions process, including building and sustaining processes, reviewing applications, and creating ongoing reporting related to outreach and yield.
2. Program and student support
- Program administration:
- Increase efficiencies in program delivery by design-thinking; coordinating curriculum paths and course enrollments with appropriate personnel in both law and business schools.
- Support faculty with course delivery by using expert knowledge to ensure that course content evolves and maintains a relevant, high quality, consistent student experience.
- Student support: Build connections with current students and foster appropriate experiences (whether in person or online) to build a sense of community among compliance students.
- Academic advising and onboarding: Counsel students on course choices in light of career interests and lead orientation efforts for students.
- Employment: Support students’ efforts to secure positions in compliance field by advising students and building/maintaining relationships with employers.
- Externships: Assist in compliance externship placements and connections.
- Accreditation and assessment: Ensure that AACSB and ABA norms are met annually.
3. Other: Lead on staying current on compliance industry trends and advise the dean and other stakeholders on changing needs. Serve on committees and assist in other ways as designated by the dean.
