JOIN OUR COMMUNITY
The Senior Program Director is responsible for the overall development and delivery of the co- and extra-curricular programs offered by the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship. These programs target both external constituencies, including high school students/teachers/counselors and alumni/business/entrepreneurial community, as well as internal audiences, including students and faculty across the university, and comprise a diverse range of events, including workshops, venture competitions, and mentoring and internship programs. These programs are offered as complements to the academic programming and are meant to extend the visibility and impact of entrepreneurial education at the Schulze School among high school students, current UST students in disciplines throughout the University, and the business community and entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Twin Cities. Success in programming is measured by enrollments, participant satisfaction, and program quality.
In partnership with the Associate Dean of the Schulze School and shared services team members, the senior director sets program-level strategies and goals, leads the implementation of key initiatives, and manages innovation and continuous improvement efforts. The senior director will oversee the work of a dedicated team that includes a program director and coordinator as well as student workers. The director also engages regularly with shared services staff in marketing, admissions & recruiting, career services, student services, academic operations, instructional innovation, and external relations to achieve program outcomes. In addition to overseeing the work of the team, the Senior Program Director will also have their own portfolio of events/programs that they will be responsible for managing. The director partners with the Associate Dean, shared services, business partners, and faculty to insure that the co- and extra-curricular offerings are current, relevant, engaging, and effective.
