The University of St. Thomas invites qualified candidates to apply for an Associate Chaplain – Islamic Faith position within the Office for Spirituality - Center for Ministry.


The Associate Chaplain will minister to the needs of the Islamic members of the university community and work in cooperation with other staff to build campus pastoral programming. The chaplain will offer pastoral care and prayer services as needed. The person will maintain office hours in the Office of Campus Ministry and be on-call for emergency situations.


This position will be part-time at eight hours per week. This part-time position is not eligible for the full University of St. Thomas benefits package.


Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, or a related field and five years of relevant professional experience to include student advising. Must be trained in the Quran.


Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in education, education leadership, or a related field.
